Our Tale Goeth Thusly...

The King's Busketeers are an exuberant, enthusiastic folk & traditional band that began in the shady forest of King Richard's Faire in Carver, MA sometime in Fall of 2012. Sam and Andy met there and began playing together, busking (get it?) by the food lines and the gates, doing stage shows, and generally amusing the patrons. The following year Josh was inducted, and that's when things really got out of hand.

The trio roamed the groves and shopfronts for a few seasons, and grew to some popularity. After a time, they realized they had carved out a wonderful little new niche genre and gave it a name:
♪ party folk! ♪

Since then, TKB have been rousing and entertaining the kindly citizens of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, and New Hampshire with hearty, soulful, traditional tunes alongside wistful ballads, whimsical ditties about double homicides, and a hearty sprinkling of rollicking originals. Always energetic and full of equal parts sizzling talent and sparking chemistry, there's never a dull moment when the Busketeers are out in force.

Tragically, on January 9th, 2023, our old friend Death took our mandolin man Josh by the hand and led him onto whatever lies beyond, and the band has been on hiatus ever since... until now? As always, we have some tasty things bubbling in the stew pot. For now, please be patient while we rebuild, reconnect, and remember. Thank you for reading.
